Charlie Chaplin was right

I'm a fan of movies all kinds from silent films to today's huge blockbusters. I watched the bio-pic Chaplin with Robert Downey Jr. (Downy's BEST performance every) and was blown away by it so much that I decided to buy some of Chaplin's films I had seen The Gold Rush when I was a kid and part of A King in New York on TCM. So I bought The Chaplin Collection vol. 1 which included Chaplin's The Great Dictator and it has the second best speech in the 20th century (the first being Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech.

You can find it at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yqnk4qNlAZk

  1. Chaplin was truly a human treasure. I've been looking for some more fodder for the Netflix queue, I'll have to see what they've got. (Somehow I can imagine his in a speaking role, but I'll be sure to check out 'Dictator if they've got it.

  2. Sorry for the delay in posting, I'm still new at blogging. If you get a chance watch "A King in a New York" it's really good.
